Tell us what the water concern in your country is!Many communities struggle with water contamination and lack of proper filtration systems. Water pollution in Laos stems from industrial waste, agricultural runoff, and untreated sewage, impacting water quality and public health.

Farming is a cornerstone of Laos’ economy, engaging approximately 60–70% of the population, with subsistence agriculture dominating rural livelihoods. Rice, the primary crop, occupies 80% of cultivated land and is predominantly rain-fed, making it highly susceptible to climate variability. Other significant agricultural outputs include maize, cassava, fruits, vegetables, and high-quality coffee, particularly from the Bolaven Plateau.
